The Retina Center of Maine accepts the allowed amounts established by Medicare or your insurance carrier as payment in full for medical/surgical services rendered. Please bring your insurance identification cards with you on your first visit. If you are covered by more than one insurance company, please let us know which insurance is primary.

We will submit claims to your carrier on your behalf. Some insurance companies require you obtain a referral or pre-authorization for office visits and/or treatment. It is your responsibility to obtain this referral from your primary care physician. Co-payments are payable at the time of your visit. You will be responsible for any balance after your insurance has paid, such as your deductible and/or co-insurance. We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover credit and debit cards.
